Hambledon Tennis Court
Hambledon Tennis Court
The village tennis court is situated just behind the Church. It is a facility available for all villagers and their family and friends for the modest cost of £35 per person/family per year (or £50 for a non-village-or-school family). Children's racquets and balls can be borrowed from the tennis shed (next to the court), and the code to unlock this is the same as for the court itself (you will be provided with this when you register as a user).
To make a booking and play on the court you first have to register. Please contact Alice Goodwin-Hudson at hambledontenniscc@gmail.com. More than one family member can register so you can make a booking without relying on somebody else doing it for you. Once you have registered using the link provided by Alice, you will be able to access the bookings site via https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/
Free Childrens Coaching Sessions - Saturday Mornings
There is free coaching for children most Saturday mornings. If your children have never played before, why not give it a try. Who knows - there may be a potential champion like Andy Murray or Johanna Konta out there! There is no need to book, just turn up, but an adult family member/carer will need to be registered with the court, and to remain on site during the lesson.
Timings are as follows:
First session: 9.30-10.30am beginners (suggest 4-7 year olds)
Second session: 10.30-11.30am internediates (suggest 8+ year olds who can rally)
